Cyber News Online is designed for use with Microsoft Word on a Windows PC. If you are using Windows and Word 2000 or later, you are probably set to go.

Cyber News Online will run on any Intel-compatible computer using Microsoft Windows 98 Second Edition or later, Microsoft Word 2000 or later, and Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.5 or later.

Detailed system requirements

Windows 98SE, ME, NT, 2000, or XP (this version tested only on 98SE, ME and 2000).
Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 5 or later (version 6 recommended).
A 486/66 MHz processor minimum (1+ GHz Pentium processor recommended).
At least 64 MB RAM (128 or 256 MB recommended).
About 10 MB hard disk space for the Cyber News Online install.
800 x 600 pixel screen – larger recommended.
CD-ROM drive (if installation is from a CD-ROM).
A network connection if you want to transfer stories to your Editor.
